The school is governed by the leadership of Calvary Chapel Stone Mountain and financially supported by the church and its members. Students from all churches are welcome, and current members of Calvary Chapel Stone Mountain Church pay a reduced tuition fee. Calvary Chapel Christian School strives to create a caring environment that also helps students grow academically and spiritually.
The school implements the rigorous Bob Jones curriculum that includes educational materials written with a biblical worldview while also encouraging critical thinking skills and using appropriate technology. The Bob Jones curriculum provides lessons and activities that support multi-sensory learning as well as courses that are structured around educational best practices.
The school also uses Abeka, a Christian-based curriculum that provides students and teachers with textbooks, lesson plans, teaching aids and readers that have been well-researched and proven to help students learn.
The curriculum is rounded out with ProTeach supplemental videos that showcase expert teachers teaching in Christian environments.

Three of my children attended this school during the 2010-2011 school year. Calvary Christian School is an excellent academic environment and an incredible value. This school offers k-5 grade. My children found the school challenging and enjoyable.
