I like the small atmosphere of Mattanawcook Academy. It is a lot easier to be closer with the teachers and be able to get help on work when it is needed. Another thing I like about MA is the teachers. Throughout my time in high school I have had pretty good teachers for the most part. A lot of them are really easy to get along with. I think there is quite a bit that I would like changed about MA. The big thing is accountability for students. In the last couple of years I have seen a big uptick in kids just slacking off but still somehow pass. The teachers and staff need to be more strict with kids and force them to actually do the work that is assigned.

Offers a lot of courses! Teachers care about students and work hard. There is a new resource officer and safety is taken into consideration.

They offer no support to the kids that are having trouble. I have made many calls, and reports, Nothing was...
