GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Mainland Regional High School has helped me get out of my comfort zone and meet new people through all of the fun activities the council plans. I wouldn't be where I am today without Mainland because of all the opportunities the school offers for students to excel and grow.

My wife and I both graduated from Mainland (1988 & 1986). Daughter graduated in 2021. Have a daughter enrolled, class of 2024. Always have positive feels toward this school.

Its a pretty chill school if you aren't disruptive. Its just an average high school. some of the problems include too much vaping in the bathroom but there is nothing you can really do about that. the school lunch is edible sometimes. the senior priv is nice. My main complaint is the science department is horrible I think science should be an all four years thing and there should be more of them. all in all if you have a friend or two and you join one of the many clubs you will have fun.

Teachers are hit or miss. Policies encourage poor behavior. Discipline is absent. Assistant Principal needs to listen to students, teachers, and parents.

It's south Jersey. (where many parents did not even graduate college & have only traveled into MAYBE 1 or 2 states for the most part) Check the SAT scores....that's all you need to do. There's parent opinions & then there are hard facts. Anyone relocating, beware. You need to go north Jersey (1st ch...
