GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I really like the sense of community and familiarity everyone has. The school community feels very welcoming and secure; attending Littlerock High School allows several students to achieve success not only academically but also socially. I would like to see more sports and school activities being allowed by admin and with the participation of the students.

It's a decent school, not a high school you would expect to be really fun like the ones you see in the movies. Either the teachers are cool or really wack. Sports in my school started to become good till my junior and senior years. Not too many interesting clubs that look like fun. Not so much school spirit from the kids.

This school had very involved and helpful staff all 4 years of my experience . I think all of my staff know who I am even the janitors and security. This school is very small but to me it is a good thing. More adults are involved in our lives in a positive impacting way. The teachers have helped me understand what they are teaching because they actually care about their students here. When someone is feeling down or having a bad day all of the staff including security are very emotionally helpful. I also play sports at this school and the coaches bond with you and get to know you , and understand we have busy schedules. This school truly helped me achieve everything I have now.

I graduated in 2019. The only commendable and honorable program and teacher from this school is the band program and instructor. He's changed a lot of kids lives with the programs he's run over the years. He's truly here for his students and wants us all to succeed and do our best. He and he alone i...

Although many other schools may look down on us, Littlerock High School has made many improvements. We are known as "the poor school" throughout the antelope valley. I haven't met a person from another high school that doesn't know the reputation of our school as "poor". But, this doesn't affect our...

I graduated Littlerock High in 2011; I have to say it was a good four years. When I started as a freshmen I have to say that lunches were horrible because of the A and B lunches; either A lunch was to empty and B lunch was too packed. The system they were using was really not helpful but after they...

The teachers don't give enough of a challenge for the students, nor does what they teach have any significant meaning; if it's even correct. The assignments are easy to do in a fraction of the given time, and don't require all that is given for the small papers.
