At Youth Middle School, the focus is on the student as to provide experiences that encourage lifelong learning and help kids prepare for college and careers. With over 1,100 students, Youth Middle School is in the top 30% of Georgia schools based on standardized math and reading test scores. The school’s administration stresses positive behavior, helping kids feel safe at school and creating a nurturing, comfortable environment that’s focused on learning. In addition to a traditional middle school curriculum, Youth offers Connections programs where students can explore subjects based on their special interests and abilities such as agriculture technology, family and consumer science, computers, art, band and Spanish. Clubs and athletic teams also offer opportunities for students to get involved and discover new things. There is a theater club for young thespians, Future Farmers of America for kids interested in agricultural careers, and a STEM club focused on science, technology, engineering and math. The Youth Middle School Warriors compete with archery, football, softball and track teams. The school also offers sports clubs for those who want to participate in baseball, soccer, volleyball and wrestling. Youth Middle School is focused on helping “Young Minds Succeed”, providing kids with a positive environment for learning.

My child only attended 8th Grade here, we moved because her old school became horrible with bullying & violence. This school was so much better than her old school thanks to teachers who are very caring, & really want to help their students. The principal/administrative staff, however, are more conc...

This school is absolutely horrible. My daughter comes home crying because of people bullying her for her weight,looks,and personality. They judge whats on the outside.
