At Lorah Park Elementary School, the Eagles are learning to soar! With close to five hundred Pre-K through fifth-grade students, the school is focused on developing children through academics and interaction, helping them become well-rounded, mindful individuals. Lorah Park focuses on traditional subjects in its curriculum, preparing students for success in middle school and beyond. Bold, bright murals on the walls and school grounds create a cheerful setting for learning, and the playground features a colorful interactive play structure. Kids can get exercise and use their imaginations on multiple slides, monkey bars and climbing features. For athletically minded kids, the school’s campus has a large, grassy field for sports, as well as a multi-use court that includes three basketball courts. A pavilion area provides a comfortable, shaded area for playtime or studying. Lorah Park Elementary students wear uniforms in the school’s blue and gold colors, helping unify students and increase school spirit. The uniforms also help students stay focused on education, without the distraction of status symbols and peer pressure.
