Overall it is a very good school, with a lot of good things about it. However, it could improve in some areas such as upkeep of facilities (bathrooms). The majority of the teachers are excellent, knowledgeable and kind, but there are a few that are less so. I've enjoyed my time here, and will look back fondly when I leave.

My experience at Los Altos High School has been good the last 4 years. I enjoy how easy it is to connect with the teachers and how fast the help is given when needed. The resources at LAHS are very helpful and the college readiness program, AVID, has also been a great experience.

Los Altos is an Amazing school overall. Everything in the Metric system is amazing in the school. If you want to go to a really good college (ex. Stanford), this is your type of school. So is Mountain View High but Los Altos is overall a better school for entering top colleges

um its okay i guess. The neutral bathroom was vandalized with anti-racial comments and symbols and the administration did nothing about it but paint over it. I believe the teachers and administrators do a good job. I don't know how to get my student motivated (I guess it has to be internal on his own) for learning and preparing for life after high school. Daughter is now a Junior.Principal Wynne Satterwhite is outstanding - I seldom meet such a hard worker. I know she works long hours and have amazing memory for many of her students!!
