The best; you are given freedom, and responsibility, two things that are very important at that age. At the same time, you are surrounded by friends who you grow up with and would almost call family. The worst; There is little to no contact with the outside world, and the rules are a tad archaic. Though recently there have been many improvements with the facilities and the faculty there.

I really love my school! There are so many opportunities to try new things and with the jobs program, find a good time doing even the most boring tasks with your friends.

Midland had a significant positive impact on my high school years. It not only gave me a multitude of skills that have benefited me in college but also helped me to build a strong community that I am still in touch with to this day.

Midland provides the most incredible academic and community experience of any school I've come across. The intentional stance on technology use blends beautifully with the rustic, nature-focused campus.
