GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Good school, the teachers care about the students and the academics is good. The small community allows everyone to know everybody which is a unique environment.

I love this school, you can really tell the teachers care about what they are doing and want to help you learn and achieve whaat you want. It offers lots of arts programs like murals ceramics and visual arts as well.

Somewhat of a smaller high school you really get to connect with teachers and students on a different level. Also being self directed really lets you prosper in different ways from traditional schooling methods. i have attended brown for 7 years and have enjoyed my time here. They have really helped me and everyone else in trying to find our future colleges and figuring out what we want to do. There is nothing negative i can say about my time here and i will miss it after this year.

My son has been at Brown since 6th grade and is currently a junior. Brown is an amazing place that he looks forward to going to every day!

If you can provide transportation for your child to attend, do it! My son started here in the 6th grade and he loves it here. The only downside too Brown is the lack of sports programs. Only 700+ students, it hard to build strong sports teams. Everything else A+++

I have two students at Brown. The great thing about Brown is they embrace the students and help them during those transition times to middle and high. Students don't have the worry of a new environment or making new friends after they first start there. Since it is a K-12 school - you find teachers...

Wonderful school community. It really is a warm, welcoming place - from the principal standing outside the school in the mornings telling everyone good morning, to the genuine friendships both my daughter and I have developed over the years. I'm so glad that we have several more years at the school...
