Bushnell Elementary School is committed to helping each child realize their potential. As one of four elementary schools in Lowell Area Schools, Bushnell offers engaging lessons and behavioral support for local prekindergarten, kindergarten and first grade students. The school participates in the Great Start Readiness Program, a statewide prekindergarten program for young learners preparing to be successful Bushnell Bears. It’s also the location of the Lowell Head Start Program. A relatively small student population at Bushnell Elementary helps teachers connect more closely with students. This also helps teachers focus on the belief statements of Bushnell Elementary, which include appropriate individualized learning experiences, high expectations and making students their top priority. Students can enjoy enrichment activities throughout the year, from trips to the zoo to fundraisers to support local community organizations. The local YMCA provides before- and after-school, half-day and no-school care. Bushnell Elementary is located just west of the Flat River, near Lowell Middle School. It’s a competitive choice for local students to take the first essential steps in their educational journey.

The bullying here is absolutely out of control so bad my daughter cries and doesn't even want to be here. Staff decide it's okay to target certain students. Ho...
