Lowell High School is home to the Red Arrows and is proud to offer a diverse range of athletics, extracurricular activities and a world-class curriculum. The Red Arrows mascot was officially adopted in 1947 to honor the 32nd Division of the U.S. Army with the same nickname. This Kent County public high school supports a large student population and ranks highly in academic achievement. Students from ninth through 12th grade can participate in 27 varsity athletic programs. Lowell High student-athletes have recently won state championships and been honored with awards in wrestling, volleyball and equestrian competitions. Other extracurricular opportunities, such as band, choir and theater, give students a creative outlet where they can nurture a passion for performing arts. Robotics club, student council, National Honor Society and a board game club are just a few of the varied extracurriculars that enrich student life at Lowell High. An Agri-Science Vocational Education program and advanced placement courses help prepare students for college. These programs are offered as part of a competitive trimester curriculum schedule. Welcoming teachers and a supportive community help inspire local high school students to remain “Red Arrows for life.”

I have had a pretty good experience with the school itself, the faculty and most of the administration are amazing, and our sports are constantly top-ranked in the state, with our football team having multiple state titles and wrestling team just winning their 12th straight and 14th all-time state championship, and our basketball and lacrosse teams also being very solid.

My experience at Lowell Senior High School has been unforgettable. The teachers were incredibly supportive, and the extracurriculars were a highlight. I had a blast participating in stage crew for three musicals, acting in three plays, and being part of the ukulele club, I even did a couple meetings with the Woman up club in senior year.

The academics in this school are exemplary, though some of the teachers are perhaps not the best. The student body itself is lacking in both diversity and inclusion. The food is fine.

I graduated years ago and have graduated 2 children from LHS and about to graduate a 3rd. As with all things, their are good and bad. For me, the good outweighs the bad. And as in life, one needs to apply themselves to maximize your experience. Sports - good and bad. We prefer travel. A lot of stude...

I didn't learn anything. They just went over stuff super fast- made us memorize. Took test. Then forgot about it. NO HANDS ON LEARNING. NO PROJECTS. NO FUN. Felt like a waste of time. Glad I am moving.

The football program has ruined Lowell as a town and school. Knoll Dean is responsible for this terrible turn. The athlete's are treated as god's and forget the others. The Deans need to leave Lowell for good
