GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It's one of the few schools that lets there high school students to go off campus to get food during lunch, plus all the teachers are really friendly and will help you if you are willing to put in the effort.

Lowville prepared me well academically and in extracurricular activities, I became a well rounded individual who is surviving and thriving as a current college freshman in a pandemic. Part of that preparation stems from learning to face unfair policies and adversity in high school.

Graduation day can not come quickly enough! We are actually weighing the advantages of moving out of the district. We miss Mrs. Steckly!

Filled with some great teachers...
