It's your everyday high school, I guess. There's not much of diversity though. This is caused from the city and parents themselves though. At the school, many teachers don't like to explain themselves causing many student to miss out on many lessons and things. There's always drama, what high school doesn't have drama? This high school is different, it's drama includes racism and bullying.

My experience with George County High School was positive. I personally felt very accepted and supported by the staff and my teachers. The only negative things is the state of its class rooms and facilities since it is an old school.

GCHS was an excellent high school. While I learned material that has allowed me to excel in college, this was not the end of my high school education. My teachers taught me how to better "read" the world around and to never stop being curious.

My experience with GCSD has been a good one so far. My daughter has been going there since 3rd grade, and she's in 10th grade now, and is in their honors class programs. She has motivated her boyfriend to get great grades too- the school fosters learning, and the teachers have seemed very competent...
