I went there last year don't get me wrong it is a good school but the new staff wasn't the best of the school i did kinda missed the old princal but the new one yes he is cill and all he isn't the best for the kids he's more strict its just middle school its not like high school and they need to stop scaring 8th graders about high school yes they don't take crap yes that is good but. the new asst princibal sucks i didn't like her at all and i felt bad for 6th & 7th graders the whole point of a field trip is to have a fun day not going to a mesum that is just bull crap and also they need to stop trying to say stuff like saying " High School is not going to take this crap and you guys need to step up." i will agree but there only strict with one thing and that is phones yes what i mean by that is if you have your phone out during school hours YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR PHONE AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY YOUR PARENT WILL I SAY WILL HAVE TO COME GET IT so dont act up so you dont get your phones

When my child was at LMS there was a mold infestation and my child's grades plummeted and they were stressed overall. The diversity grade makes no sense there are barely any colored teachers. There was a lot of drama and my child was caught into that mix. The education of my child overall was good but behavior and discipline overall needs to be fixed.

The administration just changed over, so I'm hoping for a big change, but I doubt it will happen. The guidance counselors have been taught to just say no to schedule changes, even at parents requests, the office staff is often unhelpful. Dress codes, although on paper, are not enforced.

My child is in the 7th grade and has not had many negative experiences in this school. Except with one teacher's aid.
