GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I think that school could prepare us more for life after high school. I felt that during my time there the administration was so focused on becoming a "five-star" school that they forgot to help us with actually learning in classes and preparing to go to college. The guidance counselors were not very good with actually being able to help students outside of getting their GPA and registering to take the ACT. I found myself going to the two counselors that helped with applying for college if I had questions about anything.

I think some of the best parts about East Hickman from my experience is the atmosphere of the sports, and the arts. The sports life is amazing and always filled with students and a good time. East always try's to do good and they really do a good job of achieving that. Same with the arts. The teachers of the arts are very hands on and nice, well rounded people who love their students. Some of the worst parts is the classes in my opinion. It's hard to stay focused in classes, but also hard for teachers and students to feel heard or seen through one another.

At my time at East Hickman High School I have enjoyed myself and the people who taught there. I have made good connection's with friends and teachers. They are a small town ,but it doesn't take away from the experience and it had really good programs. I really enjoyed the mechatronics program. I was able to graduate from Columbia State Community College before I got my High School Diploma. One of the worst things that happened there is some of the teachers were rude for no reason. Overall I really enjoyed my time over at East Hickman High School.

In a post dated monday november 26,I made comments about SRO Coen of EHHS.In retrospect those comments where made out of frustration with the Hickman Co.Juvenile System as ineptly managed by the Juvenile Judge of this backwater paridise.I regret venting on SRO Coen, whom I beleive to be an honest,and...
