I just recently transferred to Lyons High School my Senior year of High School after my dad got a job at the high school. I had previously heard bad things about the town but I have made so many positive people that have helped me. I also have had mentors in the staff guide me towards my future.

I have been going to Lyons my whole life and am going to be a senior this 22-23 school year. Sadly i dont think my school has prepared me enough for life outside a small town/school. For our school I wish we had more college readiness courses to prepare me to that next step in life.

I really enjoyed being at Lyons High school because it felt like home. The teachers were so nice and would help you in anything that you needed. They atmosphere was friendly. I felt safe and felt accepted there.
