I am an eighth grade student at Leake. This year has been great so far. I am genuinely enjoying sports and academics this year in every way. Love my LA family!

Leake Academy has no culture or diversity. The Abeka curriculum is outdated. It promotes rote memory. There are no higher order thinking skills used. The teachers promote taking notes in a loose leaf notebook and giving tests based on those notes. Just memorization. The cafeteria food is unhealthy to say the least. There is no safety measures in place at the school. It is just a run-down country school doing the same curriculum by most of the same teachers it's had for years. I would not recommend this school at all. Get out of Leake County and research a better environment to live in.

Great coaches and teachers. I really like the small school close feel. The teachers care about you personally. I feel safe here

My children are the third generation in our family to attend Leake Academy. I feel confident that they are getting a quality education in a Christian environment which are the two most important factors in my decision in where they would be educated.

This school is all about memorization and rote learning. This school equates rigor with how fast it can race through the ABeka curriculum and get from the first page of the book to the back.

I am a proud 1977 graduate of Leake Academy. All 3 of my children (2 are finished) attended LA. LA is very dear to my heart. I always felt my children were safe and that the teachers cared for them. My last child is in the 8th grade and known by the teachers because of his older brothers. Awesome sc...
