GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

At MHS, there is a type of bond you make. This bond is indescribable unless you experience it. Also the learning and friendships you make within a small rural community is iconic. Still in reality the school is still a school but overall they do complete their model "Where kids come first"-MHS.

The school likes to really focus on sports. The teachers support the other non-sport activities, but aren't as supportive of the musical or acting kids. The school is small enough that I can become really close with my classmates, but I can also distance myself from different people if I need to.

Spanish club and Art club were always fun to join. I learned a lot from this participating in their activities. Speech club was another option that students could join. They have an honor society organization.
