I've been here my whole life. My family has always bee around this area. Along with that they have always attended MCPS. The community is strong and can be sweet, it's small so everyone knows everyone. The mountains and scenery are Beautiful and I am glad I get to life guard at Graves Mountain lodge. All in all I am proud to graduate as a Madison mountaineer.

Madison County High School is a decent school. The people aren't bad and there are very few fights. Most teachers get to know the students. Some classes seem pointless because we don't do anything in them or we don't do what was mentioned in course description at the beginning of the semesters. The school itself is kind of ugly. It could definitely use some easy remodeling. But, I've had a good experience at this school. Everyone is very personable.

While not a perfect place, I am still able to learn a lot and enjoy my time here with my friends. Small rural town so it's easy to get to know people.

Sickened with this school's handling of my children moving out of the county. Multiple requests to allow our children to remain in school went unanswered and then we received a letter in the mail giving us 48 hours to get our children out of the school or they would be kicked out. The superintendent...
