East High School, unlike some reviews, was a wonderful experience for me. The music department in particular was amazing. Orchestra was my favorite class I even joined a small student-led band that practiced during lunch to perform at biweekly school open mics.

My overall experience with East High school has been a rocky road from freshman to senior year. There were some ups and downs in the school but overall I can see that the school facility did try their best to make East High a safe learning environment for all students and teachers.

The best part of my experience has been the sports. I found that the community within each individual sport was extremely supportive, and being a part of that community was super rewarding. Overall, the school is fine. The teachers can be hit-or-miss, and the facilities are not ideal (at least right now, they are undergoing a renovation), but the community is wonderful, and I always feel like I belong, and am supported.

Top notch. The ratings on here must be old as I see all the work the kids and teachers do to lift up all students. Everytime I contact the school by phone or enter the building everyone welcomes me, I feel like a guest! The prinicipal is always visually available to greet parents during parent-teacher conference and fully participates in all school processes. Teachers are committed to an inclusionary environment...
