Edgewood Campus School is one of the oldest private Catholic schools in the Madison area. Students have been attending Edgewood since 1881.
Edgewood Campus School shares a 55 acre campus with sister schools Edgewood High School and Edgewood College.The school currently serves students in kindergarten through eight grade with the hope of creating faith-filled global citizens.
Students are taught literacy, mathematics, social studies, science and religion. Besides covering standards-based content, the school’s curriculum aims to encourage students to grow soft skills, such as creativity, collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and innovation in students. Other areas of instruction are art, music, physical education, and technology.
To help students recognize the importance of community, middle schoolers are expected to give five to 15 hours of community service every year.
Various sports are available to students at Edgewood. The athletic program focuses on teaching athletes fundamental skills of their chosen sport and how to work with other students as a team. Sports offered include cross country, basketball, track and field, and volleyball.
Applications for attendance are accepted year round, and most school years there are wait lists for at least some of the grades. Siblings of current students are given priority, followed by siblings and children of those enrolled at the sister schools.
Tuition is more than $9,000 with needs-based tuition assistance offered.

ECS is a great school! My son transferred here this year in grade four; we took a year to decide on a school to send him to. Our experience so far has been wonderful; both the kids and parents have been very welcoming. He is enjoying school, friends and learning a lot.

Most of the teachers are good but principal is so bad that things are getting worst in this school. She is very old and she thinks that she is right in everything. She prefers one teacher who she knows for long time but that teacher is the worst teacher in the school. My kid didn't learn anything. P...
