GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall, my experience at Magnolia West was excellent, as I took advantage of the academic opportunities provided for me, such as the IB Program. The only complaint I had was with a particular coach, however by my senior year that coach had already been removed.

I'm a senior at Magnolia West High School, I graduate on May 27th, 2023. I really like the teachers I've had throughout my high school years. I also like the piano course because it helps me not to be shy when I play in front of people. I want teachers to take action if they see bullying, I want the dress code to be practiced towards students because I see a lot of girls wearing skirts or crop tops that are way too short, and I really want restrooms to be cleaner.

Special Needs Dept does include some good teachers that care. Support for Speech and Reading is non-existent. They refuse to follow any IEP's. Parents are not allowed to have a more active role in the classroom in the high school level.

This school does have some great teachers, but those teachers leave because of the toxic environment, especially in the special education department. This school fights tooth and nail to not provide services to special-needs children. I have no idea why this school treats the SN children like second...

Recently went there for a varsity baseball game. Magnolia's team kept racially harassing the other team and their coaches did not do anything to control the situation. Parents, please reconsider the learning environment you are sending your children to. Staff, please control your students. My deepes...
