My time here was one of the worst experiences. They have zero regard for student well-being. Bullying was fully allowed. Their suicide rates are concerning.

Mahtomedi High School had a wonderful scholarly community, teachers that genuinely cared for their students, and a passionate fanbase for the schools' sports and clubs. I was a sophomore in high school when education went strictly online due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Because of this, I don't believe that the science and math departments were adequately equipped to effectively teach. Mahtomedi students typically score high on reading and writing scores during standardized testing, but lower in math and science. For example, the biology level one course closely resembles an ecology class. These kinds of academic shortcomings fail to set students up for success during standardized testing.

the people are stuck up and rich but most of the teachers are good and there are a lot of college credit opportunities like AP, CIS, and PSEO
