My school offers a lot of different college classes to prepare you better. One critique I have is that I wish we offered more AP classes so we have the opportunity to choose different classes. I also wish we will have more blocks than only 4 blocks as it is hard to focus on a class for a long time and would be better to have the opportunity to have more electives.

I love how the school allows the student to earn dual credit that can be applied towards their future college if they plan on going to college. It allows them to get a taste of what a college class might be like. It also saves them a ton of money and precious time. I don't like how disrespectful the students that keep coming in seem to be. It seems that the newer freshmen lack respect. I would like to see a change towards getting more college classes that count for dual credit available.

Great school, I graduated class of 2010. The people on here who are whinning about drug problems and bad administration are most likely the parents of kids on drugs and bad behaved kids. Great school!!! The 4x4 non rotation schedule is awesome and gives lots of time for students and teachers to inte...

There is nothing bad to say about mhs, I am a grad of the class of 2014. I really liked mhs' new principle: Chris Botts. He is always there for the students and is very supportive. I have never found a teacher that wasn't exelent and helpful. I was formerly a student of maize south (which is a terri...

This school is amazing. The unique 4x4 non-rotating block isn't difficult to deal with at all. This school isn't always concerned about being the best (and putting stress on their students to keep a good image) like some Kansas City area schools. MHS wants to see students succeed at their own will-...
