I have seen the staff make genuine connections to students, but sometimes students are out of control. What I would like to see change is the control the staff has over the students. Other than general control the staff is amazing and the connections you can make are long lasting. Academics are great, but heavily depends on your teacher. There are not many clubs but the few that there are, are memorable. It is an overall well rounded school.

1. Better breakfast and lunch 2. School Counselors helping with seniors heading to college 3. School counselors presenting information about trades, work 4. School counselors placing students in classes more indicative to student desires - not just classes are full 5. Preparing parents for what comes next - when SAT is taken, EOC classes, anything related to graduation and what each certificate means. 6. Instead of focusing on how long a sideburn or dark shades of a moustache, admin should focus on student health and safety. 7. The school is very focused on Football. I get it. Football in Texas, but yet the reason one is in school is to LEARN - NO?

I have now been attending Malakoff High School for 7 years. My overall experience with Malakoff High School has been great. I love how involved everyone is. The teachers here really know how to get you out of your comfort zone. Sports are a big thing here, so I fit right in. These seven years I haven't had any bad experiences.
