There's needs to be a greater focus on science and mathematics. I know people who still don't know basic concepts in their senior year. The bar cannot continue to be lowered to meet current performance, it needs to be raised and students as well as teachers need to receive encouragement and the resources they need to get there.

Overall, Our school is one of the better ones in the North Country. We have a wide range of clubs and extracurriculars available to students. Our school is not very diverse and our class selection is not the greatest, but when you compare to other schools in the area, the school offers a lot.

Franklin Academy is not a great school. I'm not sure if it is lack of funding or the people they hire but many kids are allowed to misbehave with no consequences and the teachers don't seem to care about preparing kids for their future.
