The hardest part about Colgan was the ability to know when clubs and sports were. Especially as a freshman with not a lot of guidance, it was hard to know when are where clubs were. With no ride home I would have to plan ways to stay after and this made it so I didn't join any clubs my freshman year. There's a weekly email about when clubs and sports were but most of the time they weren't totally accurate.

The school is very diverse. One of my favorite parts is that the dress code is very laid back, like not one person I know has been dress coded in the last three years. I think the worst part of Colgan (not just colgan but the whole county) is that if a teacher is not a good teacher or their teaching style doesn't match with your learning style you can't switch classes.

Although I have mixed feelings about this school, its AP teachers, like Mrs. Fleming, and dual enrollment teachers, like Mr. Nolan and Ms. Frost, have helped me get ready for college.

The teachers tend to be engaging at least in the classes I've been in. I think the biggest issues in the learning side are the social studies and math classes.
