While I agree that there is a wonderful community feel, and a caring faculty, there is a lack of consequences that is worrisome. Children need structure and boundaries. Having worked in several of the area schools, I have noticed a strong sense of community at MEMS and a truly caring environment. Having gone through administrative changes, MEMS has moved in a positive direction and continues to improve the learning experience for it's students.
