Henry J. McLaughlin Middle School was where I spent all of sixth grade and half of seventh grade. I didn't see much bullying, but the school was often separated due to Covid-19. Lots of teachers cared, but others didn't. The academics were very easy and I wasn't often challenged. My favorite part of attending here was cooking club with Mr. Ellis.

School is overcrowded with up to 38 eighth graders in one class. Textbooks are in terrible condition. The Board of Mayor and Alderman do not consider education to be a priority. The per-pupil funding is the second lowest in the state. Not acceptable for the largest district in the state.

THIS SCHOOL IS FAMILY ORIENTED SAFE CLEAN AND STUDENTS ARE VERY HAPPY. COMMUNICATION IS EXCELLENT TOO
