GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Because my school is so small, I felt as if I had more time to pay attention to my academics and the teachers had more of a chance to sit down and learn what I needed to succeed in school. Although every school is not perfect and some classes could have been better. My school doesn't offer the courses some students excel at, for example, a calculus class.

In my experience if you're not involved in sports or the arts you wont get recognized by any staff in this school, which is unbelievable because there isn't many people in the school or in each class. So if you want to have fun at such a small school in a small town my advice is to get involved.

I have had a great experience in my time at Manistique High School. The teachers, staff, resources, and environment really encourage every student to excel and prepares them for their next step in life. I would only wish that there could be more elective classes to enroll in.
