My overall experience with Maricopa Highschool has been generic. It is just another overpopulated public highschool with limited resources. Only some teachers really care about their students, the rest just want to look good enough for the principal and don't care about their students.

Maricopa High School has been my home for the past 3 years and I wouldn't change anything. It has been a great place for friendship, hospitality, and academics. My teachers have been nothing short of excellent teachers who have really cared about my well being as a student. Like all things good, there has to be some downsides. Administration could be better at listening to the needs of students. Other than a few little things with the school, I have nothing to complain about.

It seems that in recent years, nearly all the public schools in Maricopa have made great strides. This starts at the district level with the superintendents. I only went to MHS as a freshman, but I would still like to share my experience. This school is a tough school. There are fights at this school pretty much every day. Many of the rules aren't enforced, so it's really easy to get away with breaking the rules. There are a lot of students that will say...

High School is what you make it! Too many kids blame their failures on someone else. I understand that it would be hard to get the number of teachers they need to drive all the way out here, so it would be hard to get the best teachers. But the teachers at this school really care!
