Casa Montessori, formerly known as Casa Dei Bambini after Dr. Maria Montessori's first school in Italy, is a private school that serves prekindergarten through fifth grade and began in 1974. The school prides itself in teaching the Montessori method of education by catering to each child's individual needs.
Located in the northern portion of Southeast Marietta, Casa Montessori has three programs. The Toddler program teaches ages 18 months to 3 years old independence and expression. Once students hit 3 years old, they enter the Primary program which teaches 3- to 6-year-olds the idea of leadership, responsibility and academics such as math, geography, arts and music. Lastly, the Elementary program teaches 6- to 12-year-olds topics such as social exploration and collaborative learning.
For physical education, students learn team-building skills and play as a group in an inclusive atmosphere. Casa Montessori's environment has three parts that include the teacher, the materials and the children. Teachers establish trust as learning is an individualized experience that cultivates each student so that they become critical thinkers and entrepreneurs.
Casa Montessori not only offers academics but also extended care after school. Students can expect to step out of the traditional academic learning environment and succeed at Casa Montessori.

Our school has been called "the best kept secret in Marietta." The teachers are the most dedicated Montessorians that you could ask for. Every staff member would not even think of working at any other school - a great place to work and a great place to educate your children.

Over priced and tend to have an elitist attitude. I would recommend parents first look around first before deciding to go here. The owner is great but a lot of the staff tend to have a chip on their shoulders. Problem is, you tend to deal more with the staff.
