Hollydale Elementary School has strived to cultivate excellence in Marietta for over 50 years, enriching Cobb County's youth with the tools they need to succeed in the modern world. Guided by a unique adherence to the book "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People," Hollydale Elementary School takes the long view with its students, looking to create successful workers and businesspeople years after leaving the school as children. Beyond preparing its students for middle school, Hollydale Elementary seeks to teach lessons on not just facts and figures, but lifelong learning, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Hollydale offers a wide range of special course options for students, including targeted and advanced learning programs, English Speakers for Other Languages classes, and the school's special dual-language English and Spanish Immersion program. Extracurricular clubs and activities include chorus, news crew, and a reading bowl, giving its almost 600 students a wide range of options for school-oriented activities throughout the year.

I absolutely hate this school can’t wait to move out the district in December. I have a child with high functioning autistic. The decisions they have attempted to make for my child have done more harm than good.

Hollydale is a great little neighborhood school. The teachers are great and many of them have been teaching at the school for over 10 years.
