GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Kell. Ive met so many wonderful people and staff that changed my life. If I could change anything about kell, I would bring the bullpen (snack bar) ran by DECA back during lunch.

Overall, not a bad school, but definitely could use some love from parents and could use extra money for facilities. Teachers are a mixed bag, but truly there are some gems. 4/5

I loved my time at Kell High School. I was a very involved student, playing two sports in my time there and being in several clubs. I had leadership positions in our school spirit club, the Herd, and DECA. Kell's teachers are very supportive and enjoy what they do. I'm confident I got the best education my county could offer at Kell.

It has taken me years to write this review. We have had two students graduate from Kell. One early… just to leave because of not wanting to deal with the school politics and one who was not quite there thanks to the ability to take dual enrollment courses. That’s the first issue. At the KSU DE meeti...

We have two children at Kell and have had great experiences. The teachers are accessible, hold the kids accountable and seem to care. The academics have been challenging, and my kids adore the marching band experience and band experience. We plan to do some dual enrollment classes soon. The campus i...

They do not support academic growth with students. If your child is stuck in a class below their skill level, they will keep them there and not work with the parent to move them up. The staff is rude from the school counselors to the principals who never respond.
