Marietta Middle School is an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme school that also uses the 7 Mindsets curriculum, a program that integrates principles that encourage happiness, meaning, and success. The school serves roughly 1,400 seventh and eighth grade students at the former site of the historic Marietta High School. The school also offers the Marietta Independent Learning Experiences (MILE) curriculum for gifted students and a fine arts program that offers cultural experiences in band, chorus, theatre, orchestra and visual arts. The school’s language department offers classes in French and Spanish. Exploratory classes allow students to learn about career options, work ethics and workforce interpersonal skills. Students can delve into other interests in exploratory classes such as general music, guitar, communications, engineering, media arts and computer science. Extracurricular activities let participants have fun while building social skills, pursuing interests and taking on leadership roles. The Marietta Middle School Blue Devils have teams in eight sports for students who want to get involved in athletic competitions.

At the end, a big fat 8/10. This school is probably gonna be the best middle school I will have so far. Made lots of friends, and still driving to become a software engineer. Some bruh Moments would come, but I handle them carefully.

My son is in 8th grade and so far our two years here have been wonderful. He academics has been rigorous and the class options are great. We are looking forward to the rest of the year and a smooth transition to high school.

The time my daughter spent at Marietta Middle was terrible. Carmona was ineffective in controlling the bullying and inappropriate behavior of some of the students.
