Milford Elementary School, located on the intersection of Windy Hill and Austell Roads, teaches almost 400 students from prekindergarten to fifth grade.
First opening on the 1950s, the school has grown and evolved to meet the needs of the modern-day community.
Teachers work to support the high expectations of the parents entrusting their children into the school's care, engaging in rigorous instruction in the Georgia Core Curriculum and actively communicating with parents to about student progress.
Milford Elementary School provides for the educational needs of all students, including accelerated courses and specialized caregivers. The school engages in summer learning lessons, providing assignments and activities to keep students engaged in academics during the break. School uniforms are required. Students can participate in the Cobb County School District after-school care program.
The school also hosts extracurricular activities, ranging from the Milford Elementary chorus group to the physical fitness-focused Kilometer Kids club.
