Overall, I thought going here really prepared me to go to college. Probably the best descicion I made was doing the STEM program. Though some of the teachers can be a pain, it was a good experience going here

I personally didn't have a great experience at this school. I am involved in a lot of activities and had come from a college prep school prior to transferring to Pope. It is not academically challenging and the administration is pretty unorganized. The socialization was awful as well, and I have no trouble making friends.

This is my first year here, and while I think it's better in many aspects than my previous school, which was a private, Christian school, it has it's drawbacks. The school is packed full of students and the cultrue around APs can be very harmful because there is a lot a pressure from peers and counselors to take as man as possible. But the school spirit and sports are great and I have a good time here

I was at Pope until the middle of my Junior year and transferred to a different school because they were unsupportive of my mental health needs. I graduated high school in May 2025. The counselors would do the bare minimum when I was having panic attacks and didn't do anything when I reported that I...

I’m happy that my son likes his school and he is doing so much better and he feels safe. At first I was a little concern with the percentage of African American student bc there are only 6 or 7 percent students that are black but it didn’t make any difference. He haven’t gotten any problems at all a...

This school places a ridiculous emphasis on sports. It overwhelms the communications from school, the social media, and public student celebrations and accolades. There is not enough diversity in elective options. The school schedule changed daily, which is incredibly hard to keep track of. Worse, t...

Zero. Every year we regret not switching to private or going the Magnet route. It’s shocking Pope is so highly rated. Also those high SAT ACT scores are mostly due to tutoring or significant efforts at home. We can’t wait to be out of Pope!
