This is our third year at Walker in the Lower School. We know our kid is cared for and surrounded in a loving environment where she is thriving academically and emotionally.

It's still early in the year but so far we are very pleased with Walker's Pre-K program. The school has exceeded our expectations.

Our initial overall experience with Walker for many years was fine. The Academics and teachers were excellent. Over the past few years a change in Leadership and DEI priorities has led to lower standards in teacher competence and overall cultural shift. The lack of clarity in direction and future strategy to maintain exceptional standards has led to a major concern. The new administration is not visible nor do they listen to parent concerns.

High school administrators and learning specialists were incredibly insensitive to our son, who was transferring in as a bright, academically successful Freshman with a learning difference. Depends on your type of kid. My older daughters were very self sufficient and never questioned authority. My son was successful in 2,3 and 5th grades. 4th was awful. Walker failed to recommend my son for other schools. There staff is fleeing. Significant amount of antisemitism they they hide.

They do NOT support students with learning disabilities! My PreK child was expelled in the middle of the school year. The Head of School told me they are not legally required to have resources for learning disabilities. Despite my family paying alot in tuition, my child was denied an education b/c o...
