GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I really like my school. It's a small school but it feels like it's own little community. I love my teachers and being around the students in my class. The worst parts however are the uniforms we wear and the school lunch (these are also the things I would like to see changed). I'm glad that I'll be spending my senior year at Francis Marion with my friends and the people who dedicate their lives to giving us a good education.

Francis Marion University loan take out is much less than a lot of surrounding universities. The education is very challenging, and the school clubs and activities are amazing. The school has a small student to teacher ratio that is beneficial for a lot of students.
