The best parts of my experience would be the variety of classes available, and the amount of dedicated teachers ready to help. On the other hand, the worst part of my experience at Marion High School is the judgement from other students, and navigating the negative social situations that occur in the classroom.

I've gone to Marion High School since my freshman year. It's a great place to meet new people and make lasting friends. I have had bad experiences of course, as most high school students do, but that doesn't mean that MHS is a bad school. The teachers really care about the students and I have a number of staff members I feel comfortable going to if I have questions. My favorite part of going to MHS is the music program. We aren't the best, but we make do with what we have. We're like a large family, and we have a lot of fun together. I'm proud to be graduating Marion High School this spring.

Marion High School was filled with many extracurricular activities a couple few being Track, Green Bandana, Volleyball, Take Charge, Show choir, and many more.

My son has been attending this school for 2 years and they absolutely refuse to give me my son's school records even after I presented evidence of my relationship to the student. I presented evidence of my relationship to Jeff Kost (Admin Assistant of Student Support Services) and Janelle Brouwer (S...

I had two kids go through this school, last graduated in 2016, and they were extremely well prepared for college and life. One went on to become a Teacher and one went on to Medical School. This school teaches kids that they can do it all. My kids were in band, robotics, soccer, speech, show choir,...

As a former student and racial minority I can attest to the fact that Marion is one of the least racial diverse schools in the area (due to its size and location) and minorities are not made to feel at home. Going there I suffered daily micro-agressions and a general lack of tolerance for anything t...

I have one student currently attending Marion High and loves his teachers. They challenge him and encourage him to continue to pursue his interests. He is being well prepared for college and has already acquired college credit. Communication with teachers is open and quick to respond if I request in...
