It was a pretty average middle school experience. They don't have the best ways of teaching gifted kids who aren't in the program and the school lunches kinda suck, however there is little to no bullying and the teachers are nice if you pay attention in class.

Some of the teachers at this school seem too busy to take the extra time to work (academically) with my son who has been diagnosed with ADHD and Non-Verbal Learning Disorder. However, most of the teachers are friendly, professional, effective and dedicated. My son has had some behavioral issues and...

I have had one student go through Vernon and one currently at Vernon. Both have loved their teachers, their classes, and their experiences there. There are wonderful teachers who communicate well with the students, lots of fun extra curricular opportunities, and a new updated building. Love Vernon!!...
