GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I like Marion High School because it's a positive environment as well as really diverse. There are a lot of options for making friends. They also take a lot of pride in clubs and sports and take time to give attention to every organization.

I love the opportunity Marion has given me. We have a wide variety of clubs and extracurriculars that I have been involved in. The education is one of the best in the area. There are many options for college courses at the school which is very helpful.

Very little emphasis on college readiness. This includes SAT prep, AP Tests, and college applications. Would love to see more emphasis on areas that truly prepare you for a 4-year college education.

Excellent high school! My children are extremely happy and receiving a top notch education. I have no doubt they will be well prepared to excel at the post secondary level. The faculty, staff, and administration are outstanding.
