GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I so far have loved my experience. The school is very close knit, and the teachers are wonderful. If you choose, you can graduate with an AS degree. My one issue is the lack of extracurriculars. You can take extracurriculars with the associated High School, but its difficult to do that while graduating in four years.

I really enjoyed the diversity and inclusion by both staff and students. MECHS is an amazing opportunity for students who want to start early on obtaining a college degree.

If I could choose this school again, I would go back as a freshman. I joined the school as a junior and I sorely missed those first two years. The students are very diverse and individualistic. Having college classes along with normal high school classes made it more challenging.

This school is the best. The teachers and principal help all students no matter what. I have never felt so cared for in all my other schools as I feel now. It upsets me to see someone get on this website and tell lies about my school and the great people that work there.

Since I started at this school freshmen year most of my days have been drama filled with numerous distractions. There are as with typical high schools a drug, alcohol, and tobacco problem at this school which isn't being handled. I have noticed however since the new Principal arrived from the middle...
