10! This is a school where everyone knows your name, cares for the children and parents and works extremely hard to help children to grow and exceed not only academically but character and trait building the students can take far beyond the halls of New Salem.

I keep hearing how great New Salem Elementary is supposed to be, but we had to pull our daughter out of the third grade at New Salem due to bullying. We addressed our concerns with her teacher and the administrators repeatedly but the issue was never adequately addressed and the bullying continued u...

The reason my husband and I moved to the New Salem area was because of the wonderful school and supportive community. The staff is committed to delivering a challenging academic program K-5. The students are provided extra help during the school day and as needed after regular school hours.

The staff at New Salem is very dedicated to providing a high quality education to all students. The PTO is very involved and a wonderful resource. This is a positive environment for all!
