Martensdale is a very small town. I moved from a 4A 300 person class to a 1A 30 person class. It was a difficult adjustment due to stereotypes, small town people, and groups. But overall, I have had a decent experience in MSTM. Sports are fun. I play softball and we have gone to state each year. Teachers are kind.

I love the small town school. Everybody knows each other and helps each other out. Teachers are able to work one on one with you if you need extra help. The available activities could be better and the music program is far behind all other schools. Other than that we have a great basketball and baseball program.

I have made some great memories at this school. If I were asked if I would want to do it all over again, I would have to say yes. The friends I have made throughout my years at this school are great. The coaches are also another positive thing at this school. My volleyball coach I had my senior year was especially great. She taught me if I'm not living up to who I want to be, then I need to push myself to be better.

Our school is made up of a community. Everyone is part of the bigger family that is MstM. Where in areas we fight like a family at times, we protect, support, and care for each other as a family.
