GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I feel that Central High School overall is a safe place to be. I have never felt unsafe while being here. The athletics and extracurriculars are just as good as the academics. The teachers are very understanding and willing to help. The school in its physical capacity is somewhat outdated, but not to the point of being any less safe in. The staff takes great pride in the academic and athletic opportunities in each and every student.

I have been attending the Spring Cove School district since kindergarten and I can say that over the years the school has changed a lot but It's always been a safe place for me to be and feel comfortable. The only complaint I have about Central would have to be the school lunches.

The best parts about my school include the environment, the support from the staff, the kindness shown by others, and the activities that are provided. The worst parts about my school is the food, the lockers given, and the ceilings that leak when it rains too much.

There are few good teachers who cares but the rampant drug problem in rural towns will make anyone to seriously conside...
