GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My high school experience was not all that great at first because of some family setbacks but once I pushed through those, I finally started to enjoy school!!

It is a very small school but I have met some really great people there. Band was really enjoyable to watch during football games and it really brings the students together. Education is limited and there aren't a lot of options with AP Classes.

There are some wonderful teachers that really put their all into teaching the students but then you have the teachers that seem not to care at all.

It sucks. You get famed for things you don't do, they misdiagnoses you with disabilities. I would recommend Eminence over this school

Martinsville Senior High School [used] to be a good school. Now, they are more concerned about what the kids are wearing than the quality of their education. The school counselors don't seem to care about [all] the students - just the higher performing ones. Bullying is definitely an ongoing issue -...
