Mary, Star of the Sea is the place where my love of Jesus began. I saw the qualities of Jesus in everyone and my faith grew. Immersion in such a positive school community full of hardworking teachers, faculty and staff encouraged me to work hard as well. The small class sizes nourished my curiosity and I am proud to say that Mary, Star of the Sea has helped me to become a life-long learner.

Mary Star of the Sea School is a place for professional growth. I've been employed at this school for two years and believe that the working environment and the leadership allow employees to feel valued. The open campus connects me to nature all day, something that I know the students enjoy as well. I recommend this school as a great place for work and one to send your kids too.

Mary, Star of the Sea is an excellent school. Teachers have years of experience. Teachers also have a diverse background. Parent involvement movie night, Multi Culture Day and many others. Administration maintains a discipline but friendly environment. Christmas plays and others are well organized. Campus is clean and well maintained.

Staff/teachers kids shown favoritism. Teachers childrens’ Bad behavior swept under the rug by principal. Upon requesting meeting, Principal wrote, “our teachers and staff come first.” NOT welcoming to new students! Do NOT recommend.

Too much homework for even for elementary school students. Some teachers are strict for no reason. Really strict rules since it is a Catholic school. Lots of bullying with victims taking the blame.

My child has enjoyed Mary, Star of the Sea. The teachers here do a great job connecting with students; SOS feels like a small family. There is a wonderful art teacher on campus.
