I appreciate the sense of community at Mattawan High School, amongst the students and with the teachers. Some of the facilities would benefits from updating and the student body is not as diverse as some other local schools. The academic standards seem quite good and the school offers a good sports Program for the students to benefit from

Mattawan is a great school. The staff that I interacted with at the school is understanding, kind, and wants to see their students succeed. There are several programs offered to prepare students for college: early middle college, tech center programs, higher level classes (AP and honors), and even slower-paced classes to help students that need further help.

It has been a great school, where staff is very involved. The musical program in amazing, allowing me to patriciate in several musicals.

I wish I would have never sent my child to this school. Since attending high school his mental health has depleted drastically. The school allows bullies to run free. The worst part is if you're not the cookie cutter white kid you are horribly bullied. I can't even imagine what other minorities are...

Complete disregard for its students with special needs and poor or lack of complete communication with parents. Very unprofessional. A waste of taxpayer money. Do not recommend!

The most racist school in the area. Especially in high school sports. Do not send your kids here if they are black, the school does nothing to help you.
