I loved going to school at Mattawan! I hope the bond passes next week. We really need new turf fields. We would also really benefit from getting a pool.

Overall, Mattawan was a pretty good school. I enjoyed the events put on and most the sports programs are run well. I had many good teachers that I have great relationships with, however, there are many awful teachers and administration does not seem to care a great deal about the students.

I wish I would have never sent my child to this school. Since attending high school his mental health has depleted drastically. The school allows bullies to run free. The worst part is if you're not the cookie cutter white kid you are horribly bullied. I can't even imagine what other minorities are...

Complete disregard for its students with special needs and poor or lack of complete communication with parents. Very unprofessional. A waste of taxpayer money. Do not recommend!

The most racist school in the area. Especially in high school sports. Do not send your kids here if they are black, the school does nothing to help you.
