Arborbrook Christian Academy is a private school serving students in kindergarten through grade 12 with a Christian-centered college preparatory education. Located in the east side of Weddington, its curriculum is based on British educator Charlotte Mason’s philosophy that children are natural learners, and their education should be based on real ideas in a natural environment. Academic life is supplemented with athletics, and Arborbrook teams have won conference championships in both boy’s and girl’s basketball, soccer, cross country, and girl’s volleyball. The school is accredited by Christian Schools International along with several other institutions. Its college acceptance rate is high, with 86 percent of students attending college after graduation. Tuition costs range from $7,800 to over $9,000 per year, and financial aid is not typically available. The student-teacher ratio at 7:1 is much higher than state and local averages. This school is awful for students of color. Most of the staff has a clear racial bias. The homework load is ridiculous for high school. If you are a POC, Think Twice before you attend this school. Yes the academics are good, but its not worth the constant fight of your children dealing with racial issues

I loved Arborbrook- the small community and interactive learning allowed me to grow into my own person.

Arborbrook has been a great school since I started in Junior High. The small classes make for great relationships with my classmates, which sometimes can be hard since there are not as many friends to choose from, but overall I enjoy the tight-knit class that I have been a part of. We all have very unique personalities and have loved our time here. The teachers are very interested in helping us learn and the academics are very helpful in preparing for college readiness as we are challenged every day.
